The meeting was called to order at 7:45 in- .the courtroom by Chairman JohnsQn.

Also present: Attorney Madsen and Engineer Barr.
Attorney Madsen requested 1 copy each of the Plumbing., Building and Electric Codes
for writing an ordinance concerning them.
Engineer Barr presented the final plat of the New Kodiak Subdivision, Blocks 4,5,6,7,
and 8. A discussion of the loading area for Blocks 4 and 5 followed. Commissioner
Kraft objected to moving his loading from Marine Way to the loading area shown because
of obstructing the street during entrance and exit and other reasons. Engineer Barr
stated that he doubted that vans could be parked along Marine Way because of the
difference in grade. Commissioner Duros moved that the final plat be approved for
public hearing provided Block 4 be returned to the layout shown by the preliminar-
plat ,, Seconded by Com-m-Lissioner Juelson and carried unanimouslym
Engineer Barr presented the preliRdinary Plat for the New Kodiak Subdivision Block 3.
Commissioner Franklin moved that the plat be approved subject to provision of
access to the lots on Shellkof lying beyond the Urban Renewal boundary and construction
of a suitable covered stairway or equivalent from Shelikof to the State Highway
between Lots 9 and 10. Seconded by Commissioner Kraft and carried unanimously.
The preliminary plat for New Kodiak Subdivision, Blocks 10 and 11 was presented
and discussed. Commissioner Kraft moved that the Commission approve the prel=iinary
plat of Blocks .10 and 11 as presented. Seconded by Commissioner Durns and carried

unanimously
Chairman Johnson asked the status of Block 2. Engineer Barr stated that ASFLk was
m receptive but requested a finished plat before making a ftnal decision.

Lack of a state high 'ay map precluded presentation ton]Lght. Commissioner Kraft
stated that Wilton White might be receptive to a partial take of the service station
property to perrrait alignment of the new street with Marine Way.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 9:50 p-m#1
