SPECIAL MEETING - July 17, 1967
I CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. by Chairman Arne Hansen in the
Magistrate's Courtroom, Donnelley Building, Kodiak, Alaska, for the purpose of
taking action on an application for a variance submitted by Richard Bentson.

III ITEM OF BUSINESS
A. Request for Setback Variance on Lot 15, Block 5, Erskine Subdivision
Richard Bentson - Case 1-H. The application letter was read and plat
studied. The application had been approved by the Borough Attorney. Mr.
Richmond moved, seconded by Mr. Cross, that a pubic hearing be held on this
request at the next regular meeting on July 26. Motion carried by unanimous
roll call vote.
IV ADJOURNMENT - The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.

Magistrate's Courtroom, Donnelley Building, Kodiak, Alaska, for the purpose of
taking action on an application for an exception and variance submitted by
Fred Brechan.

III ITEM OF BUSINESS
Request for Exception and Variance to Build Apartments on Lots 18B and 18C, USS
3099 - Fred Brechan. The application letter was read. It was pointed out that
no plat had been submitted as is required with an application for a variance, and
further that the subdivision of Lot 18 has not yet been completed and recorded.
After a lengthy discussion, Mr. Cross moved, seconded by Mr. Williams, that action
on this request be tabled until after the subdivision has been recorded. Motion
carried by unanimous voice vote.
IV ADJOURNMENT - The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
