17.95.100 Performance standards.
All permitted and conditional uses shall comply with the performance standards listed in this section.
A. Groundcover. All areas not devoted to buildings, structures, surfaced drives, walks or parking areas shall be
covered and maintained with grass, shrubbery, trees, rocks or gravel, or other suitable groundcover materials to
minimize dust, erosion and sedimentation.
B. Lighting. Any lighting uses for advertising, display, or security purposes shall not produce glare on a public
highway or neighboring residential property.
C. Screening. Where a business use is adjacent to a residential use or district, that business shall provide and
maintain screening as approved by the commission. [Ord. 01-08 §2; Ord. 92-13 §3, 1992. Formerly §17.22.1003.

17.25.230 V definitions.
"Vacation home" means a one -family dwelling unit that is rented or leased in its entirety for periods not to exceed
30 days in length.
"Vehicle impound lot" means a secured, screened lot provided for the collection and storage of vehicles for a
period not to exceed six months which have been impounded and authorized for storage by a law enforcement
agency. "Vehicle impound lot" does not mean the processing or dismantling of vehicles for scrap metal or the sale
of their parts. [Ord. 2007-08 §3; Ord. 81-40-0 §1, 1981. Formerly §§17.06.572, 17.06.575].
