Call to order: 5:30 pm
Commissioners Present: Jake Castonguay, Jason Chandler -Chair, Dave Neuman -Secre-
tary and Chris Windnagle. 2 vacant seats.
Dave Conrad -Fire Chief, and Kevin Arndt -Contractor; present.
Commissioner excused: Greg Egle-Vice Chair
Approval of agenda by unanimous vote.
Approval of the minutes by unanimous roll call vote for;
• Regular Meeting of June 7, 2022

Contractor Comments: Kevin Arndt.
1. Work in June and July;
a. Potholes and minor grading
b. Ditch clearing, brushing, chipping.
c. signage repair
Chairman's Report:
1. Work Orders;
a. Culverts at Kalsin/Preston and Russian Loop need repair/replaced.
Old Business
1. Fire Service
a. Kurt Law working on radio repeater replacement, reviewing hardware.
b. Brush truck ordered, delivery projected for late August
c. Will move equipment from old brush truck to the new truck
2. Road Service
a. Road signs and hardware ordered, some installed so far, more parts pend-
ing.
b. AKDOT to facilitate a grant for Hydrology study of Sgt Ck and S Russian
Ck re: seasonal flooding at Highway Road entrance.

c. KIB to submit grant for Hazard Mitigation in late August
New Business
1. Fire Department
a. Will purchase tools for new truck, NTE l0k
b. Will purchase new AED to replace outdated model
2. Road Service;
a. Contract discussion; tabled until Sept Meeting
b. 15% additional Retro payment to contractor for previous FY work pre-
sented by Dave Conrad per KIB, decision tabled for this meeting.
