Commissioners Present: Jason Chandler -Chair, Dave Conrad, Billy Ecret, Greg Egle-Vice
Chair, Dave Heuman-Secretary and Chris Windnagle. 1 vacant seat.
Approval of agenda by unanimous vote.
Approval of the minutes by unanimous roll call vote for the Regular Meeting of Februa-
ry 2, 2021 and the Budget Hearing of February 16, 2021
Contractor Comments ; Kevin Arndt.
1. Did 4 snow plowing, and sanding as called out.
2. Misc. pothole temp repairs
3. Brushing removal; storm damage from ice and wind.
Chairman's Report
1. Work Orders; on weather hold. Some of the pot hole patches have failed

a. FD 16% expended to date.
b. Road Service 71% expended with pending invoices (18k) included.
Old Business
1. Fire Service
a. Brush Fire Truck; RFP being developed for type `B' platform.
b. Assistance to Firefighter grant application was unsuccessful/unaccepted.
c. Div of Forestry grant submitted, pends results.
d. 2 Scott Packs sent out for service overhaul.
2. Road Service
a. Mid. Bay Ditching comparison pends appropriate weather conditions.
b. Work List review; prioritize for April Regular meeting discussion
c. Letters
i. Letter re:Sgt Ck Rd flooding at the Chiniak Highway; D Conrad
coordinating with KIB Lobbyist and Brechan.

ii. Anadromous Stream permit; DC to pursue a multi -year permit
New Business
1. Fire Department;
a. The Thermal Imaging Camera is being sent in for repair; and a motion
NTE 3k for a new replacement was passed unanimously.
b. A motion to buy 2 new sets of turnout gear passed unanimously, NTE 4k
c. Siding repairs for the Fireball building are necessary; costs to be shared by
KIB, MK Enterprises and WBSAB, proportions to be determined.
2. Road Service
a. The lot beyond the end gate on Panamarof Creek Drive has changed own-
ers. How this will impact the road service is unknown. Currently there are
no structures beyond the gate.
Board Member Comments
1. DC; Snow plow left a berm by the generator at the fireball.
2. BE; Potholes are coming out, BF Rd at Rices Drive is very bad (rap)
3. CW; Gravel roads need grading.
4. DH; Preston road base/bones are coming up through the top, needs gravel
