C6 Commissioners Present: Jason Chandler -Chair, Dave Conrad, Greg Egle-Vice Chair, Dave Heuman-Secretary and Chris Windnagle. 1 vacant seat. Commissioner Excused; Billy Ecret Approval of agenda by unanimous vote. Approval of the minutes by unanimous vote for the Regular Meeting of January 12, 2021. Contractor Comments : Kevin Arndt. 1. Did some ditch cleaning on Mid Bay Dr near Pavlof and on S Russ Ck near the feed store. 2. Misc snow plowing and sanding as called out. Chairman's Report 1. Work Orders; on weather hold. Some of the pot hole patches have failed; do not know why some do and others don't. 2. Budget a. FD 16% expended to date. b. Road Service 59% expended with pending invoices included. Old Business 1. Fire Service a. Brush Fire Truck; RFP being developed. b. Gear/shelving rack; all finished. c. Div of Forestry grant submitted, pends results. 2. Road Service a. Mid. Bay Ditching comparison pends appropriate weather conditions. b. Letters i. Letter re:Sgt Ck Rd flooding at the Chiniak Highway; D Conrad coordinating with KIB Lobbyist and Brechan. WOMENS BAY SERVICE AREA BOARD REGULAR MEETING MINUTES ii. Letter sent to KIB Manager re: Anadromous Stream permit, pends response from him. 1. Fire Department; a. Going to purchase a chain saw. b. Will apply for an Assistance to Firefighter Grant to purchase new turnout gear. Budget Hearing 1. Fire Department a. Reviewed and approved as presented. 2. Road Service a. Reviewed and approved as presented. Board Member Comments 1. DC, The Water Pipe by the Fair Grounds keeps getting replaced by Residents and then removed by the DOT. The Fire Hall cannot supply water to residents due to quality assurance, liability and staffing issues. Water in the service area over all is owner supplied, not from the taxpayers or a central water source. 2. GE; Uses his own water pipe rig for getting water from the stream. 3.
