I CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Betty J. Wallin at 7:00 P.M..

Mr. Dan Ogg
Mr. James Peotter
Mrs. Betty J. Wallin
Roll call on Mr. Anderson was delayed pending possible late arrival.
Mr. Cannon, Mr. Hansen and Mr. Ogg rendered objections to Mr. Jack's
being excused; therefore, Mayor Wallin ordered that he not be excused.
III ITEMS OF BUSINESS
1. Formalizing and adopting Borough testimony in the Draft
Environmental Impact Statement. Resolution No. 30-16-R
Mr. Hansen moved to adopt Borough Assembly Resolution No. 30-16-R.
Seconded by Mr. Ogg. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
2. Formalizing and adopting Borough response to the Final
Environmental Impact Statement for the 5 year leasing
schedule.
Mr. Peotter moved that the Assembly authorize Mr. Flank Pennington,
Chairman of the OCS Committee, to draft a telegram clarifying the
position of the Kodiak Island Borough regarding the five year
lease sale for the Mayor and Council Member's signatures.
Seconded by Mr. Ogg. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
Mr. Herrnsteen thanked Mayor Wallin and Mr. Ogg for going to
Juneau and talking to the Governor.
Mr. Anderson did not arrive at the meeting. Mr. Hansen, Mr. Ogc
and Mr. Peotter rendered objections to Mr. Anderson's being
excused; therefore, Mayor Wallin ordered that he not be excused.
IV ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned by Mayor Wallin at 7:20 P.M..
