Approval of the minutes from the Regular Meeting June 5, 2018

Contractor Comments: Kevin Amdt
1. Pothole patching ongoing
2. Brushing at signage and intersections done in June

1. Staging lot posts installed, cable pending
2. Work orders for more brushing, potholes along asphalt edges, yield sign re -loca-
tion and ditching issued.
1. Fire Service
a. Emergency Gen. Switch pends install
b. Comm. Ctr. Rental Agreement with KIB; still pends action
c. State grant for purchase of Wildland gear maybe available in Spring of
2019.
d. Purchase of Turnouts for new members will occur as needed.
2. Road Service
a. Special meeting June 12 to address long term asphalt plan and FY 19 pri-
ority list
b. Potholes; pre -mark and cut holes in prep for Asphalt
c. Fish Culvert on Mid Bay Dr may be shifted to FY 20

a. Resolved to commit 20k of the unreserved Fund Balance for a Hydrology
study of the Sgt Creek and S. Russian Creek in conjunction with the KIB
for mitigation of long term impacts to area roads.

1. Katie Heglin noted undergrowth beneath guardrails is blocking water runoff from
road surfaces

1. JC; Potholes must be delineated/marked for cutting prior to Asphalt plant firing
up soon.
