Approval of the minutes from the Regular Meeting and Public Hearing on March 6, 2018
and the Reguar Meeting April 3, 2018

a. Emergency Gen. Switch pends install
b. Comm. Ctr. Rental Agreement with KIB; still pends action
c. Scott Packs; received.
d. Vehicle Maintenance in progress
2. Road Service
a. Special meeting May 9 to address long tern asphalt plan
b. Middle Bay Drive Fish Culvert RFP being prepared, KEA to donate 12k
c. Moved and passed to re -position yield sign at the Wm. Bay/Lake Orbin in-
tersection to the Lake Orbin Road. Research to assure compliance with
Traffic Best Practices before implementation.

a. Motion approved to move 75k from unreserved Fund Balance to the FD
FY 18 budget for equipment purchases (Mid Year Budget Adjustment)
2. Road Service;
--• a. Discussion regarding taxing Businesses within Service District but no
frontage on Road Service Roads (fronting on Chiniak Highway). Consen-
sus reached was that taxation without actual benefit was not in best inter-
est of the Road Service or the Businesses.

2. JC; Pot hole efforts appreciated
3. JI; Should sweep roads to remove remaining gravel from the winter ice control
