REPORT FROM DEPT. OF INTERIOR INCIDENT COMMAND
The Department of Interior has been asked to step in with an incident command
team which hopes will mix with current structure. The team can be used in any
number of ways. It can work right in existing structure or set up to deal with
refuges, Katmai Park, etc. Where we stand right now is if you want this team
to integrate with your operation. In looking at what is going on, there are no
problems or major failures or any need for this team to come in. Question is
either you want to integrate it with you or a stand-alone entity in Kodiak as a
structural team with Dept. of Interior lands. In an absolute structured
organization, you adept with other organizations.
GOULD: We would like to invite you to assist us in framework of
organization.
TEAM: We will pass it back on to our people. Dave Dash will be the leader
on our team here. We were sent down as to make assumption as to what type of
team and how you structured a team. Team can consist of two to ten people.
Standard team is six to eight.
FREED: Am I to continue contacting those areas not yet on the list?
