September 23, 1981 with the :following persons in attendance: Phil Shealy; Ray
Camardella; Erin Devoto; Jim Olsen; Art Bors; Ron Chase; Noreen Thompson; Scott

Mr. Shealy explained that the -purpose of the meeting was to review proposals for the
school complex development.master plan. After briefly reviewing the Scope of Service
he indicated that the following firms had submitted proposals:

After considerable discussion and evaluation of the merits of the various firms, the
Architectural Review Board selected the following four firms to make formal presenta-
tions on Thursday, October 22nd to the Architectural Review Board with the School Board
and Borough Assembly invited to sit in. The firms were Environmental Concern, Inc. P.S.
Haeg-Bettis Associates; TRA/Farr and CTA Architects Engineers. Staff was further in-
structed to conduct telephone interviews on these four firms including owners, contrac-
tors, users and particularly users who had utilized the firms planning experience. The
Architectural Review Board further agreed that the four presentations would consist of
25 minutes apiece starting at 7:00 p.m. with opportunities for questions of each firm.
,Mr. Coleman noted that he would then convene the Architectural Review Board that evening
after the formal presentations to make a recommendation to the School Board and Borough
Assembly.
Other items of discussion included a brief explanation of the hospital project currently
out for bid including the merits of carbon versus electrostatic participators.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
