CALL TO ORDER
CHAIR ARNDT called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Board Members present were Chair Scott Arndt, Bill Barton, Cliff Ford, and Colin Young. Kelsea
Kearns, Steven Neff, and Rick Ryser were absent.
Also present were Dave Conrad, KIB Construction Inspector/Engineer, Kathie Peters, KIB
Projects Assistant, and Tony Yorba from Jensen Yorba Lott. Brian Pekar and Zach Cawvey
from RSA were present telephonically.
A QUORUM WAS ESTABLISHED.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
YOUNG moved to approve the agenda.
VOICE VOTE ON MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
FORD moved to approve the minutes from March 8, 2016.
VOICE VOTE ON MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
REVIEW OF 95% DRAWINGS FOR PETERSON BOILERS AND CONTROLS
Tony Yorba discussed changes from the 65% drawings. Brian Pekar walked through the
mechanical/electrical specifications; he indicated very few changes from 65%.
YOUNG moved to approve the 95% documents for the Peterson Boilers and Controls

REVIEW OF 95% DRAWINGS FOR PETERSON/MAIN GYM FLOORING
Tony Yorba discussed changes from the 65% drawings; he also went over new contractor
access plan.
YOUNG moved to approve the 95% documents for the Peterson/Main

REVIEW OF 95% DRAWINGS FOR EAST ELEMENTARY ROOF
Tony Yorba discussed changes from the 65% drawings. Scott Arndt noted that the Middle
School metal roof has been removed and will now be a separate project.
YOUNG moved to approve the 95% documents for the East Elementary Roof
ROLL CALL VOTE ON MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
None
STAFF COMMENTS
Tony Yorba indicated that it is most cost effective to replace the structural steel with galvanized
steel on the KMS canopy, provided that no foundation work is required.
BOARD COMMENTS
Bill Barton pointed out on the East Roof drawings sheet A201 references A301, which was not
included, Tony Yorba will add to package. He also pointed out on page A101 the word "distrub"
should be"disturb".
