Present were: Reed Oswalt, Fred Roberts, and Jim Carmichael drafting minutes. Absent because out of town were: Peter lvanoff and Jim Schauff. The need for a guardrail at the intersection of Bayview and Monashka circle was discussed. Strongly concurred is the guardrail is needed for safety and has been an item discussed at meetings the past two years. Exemplifying the need is winter before last there were two cars totalled because of no guardrail. Fred estimates approximately 250 feet of guardrail to be needed, and for more precision he will measure the length of the hazard. Fred will also obtain two cost quotes. It was concurred the cost of the guardrail be obtained from the borough because the guardrail is a safety essential and outside road maintance costs borne by the district. Jim and Fred will each meet with KIB manager Bud Cassidy to inform and emphasize the safety requirement to have the guardrail.
