Members absent: Scott Griffin, Brian Hansz
Approval of minutes of 8/6/13 and9/3/13 meetings: motion to approve by D
Conrad, seconded by D Neuman
Citizens comments:
Jess Ford commented that the condition of Panamaroff Creek Rd by the
park is deteriorating. Also that Noch Dr has been brushed but no work done on
the actual road.
D Conrad received a phone call from Gil Smith commenting that the lower
Alitak Dr was not graded all summer.
Contractor comments:
Kevin Arndt commented that 1) signs are being installed 2) roads will be
graded after a rainfall 3) trees downed by the wind along side of roads will be
cleared within 2 weeks 4) Noch Dr will be debermed when grading commences
5) work is being done on crack sealing and pot holes on Russian Creek side
OLD BUSINESS
Fire Department:
a) Tanker 23 repairs: D Conrad requested $1000 to be paid to Brechan Ent for
diagnostic assessment
b) HUD grant for A&E shelter: architects working on initial concept and design,
public meetings to be held once concept is finished
c) New pickup status: cap is procured and being constructed
d) Legislative grant to firefighters: received Scott upgrade parts, masked being
shipped this month
Road Service:
a) FEMA: on hold
b) Lot sales by KIB: Panamaroff Creek Road extension: in discussion with Bob
Scholz regarding extension of service district boundary
c) Work orders outstanding: see contractor comments above
d) Fish friendly culvert project: Road service, Shell Oil, borough have contributed
monies along with a state grant. Any left over money will be applied to stage 2
