Members Present: Dave Heuman, Scott Griffin, Bill Ecret, Jessica H: , and Dave
Conrad.
Others present: Dale Rice, Kevin Arndt, and Jess Ford.
Agenda amended to move truck canopy to old business. Motion to approve agenda made
by Dave Heuman with second by Scott Griffin and approved by board.
Citizen's comments: Jess Ford spoke about the condition of parts of Noch drive. Road is
becoming very narrow due encroachment of the natural environment and needs repair. It
is currently no more than 12 feet wide at this point. Those parts of the road are not being
graded either. Board agrees the road needs to be brushed, widened and graded and will
take action.
Contractor comments: Kevin Arndt reports that the road grading is on schedule, signs are
being installed.
Old business: FD is waiting for an estimate from B.E.I. for repairs to T-23.
Fire pond limits usage of lot for Conex foundation and new emergency shelter
construction. Borough recommends combining both lots by having KEA remove the
easement that divides them. No change to zoning and FD can utilize the area as needed
for new construction. May open service area up for more grants to resolve river
encroachment also. Conex foundation will wait until permanent location is decided.
Board agrees to pursue, Dave Conrad volunteers to represent the board in discussions
with KEA. RECEIVED

New response truck: Waiting on cost estimates from AKSALA electronics and bids for
R.I.U.
Road service: Discussions on going with Borough concerning service area inclusion for
new lots being proposed for sale.
Grant for fish friendly culvert has been submitted.
Crack sealing pending work starts soon.
Repairs to existing culverts appear to have returned Lake Orbin to its original level.
New Business
FD: None
Road Service: New seats opening this term reminder that a write in must file for that
status.
Next meeting scheduled for 10/01/13 unless it conflicts with elections. Then it will be
held on 10/08/13.
