NO. 3098 FROM PUBLIC TO UNCLASSIFIED
WHEREAS, AS 07.15.340 empowers the Borough to enact a
zoning ordinance and provide for its administration, enforcement
and amendment, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has pursuant thereto
adopted Chapter 5 of its Code of Ordinances and Resolutions, which
provides for planning and zoning provisions and procedures, and,
WHEREAS, according to the comprehensive planning and
zoning map adopted by the Kodiak Island Borough, Lot Eleven (11)
of U.S. Survey No. 3098 has been classified as public and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning iI
Commission has on its own initiative recommended the rezoning of
Lot Eleven (11) of U.S. Survey No. 3098 from
public
for the reason that the same has been leased by to unclassified

place a trailer thereon as watchman's

area being rezoned but has declined to petition for rezoning on its
own and the Planning and Zoning Commission have found that this
rezoning is not contrary to the objectives of the plan and further
having held a public hearing on the matter of rezoning this propert
on June 11, 1969, and no objections having been voiced and it havin
been determined that the public necessity, convenience, general
welfare and good zoning practice requires such classification, the
same being adjacent to and being used in connection with the munici a.
