1968-05 Providing for Supplemental Budget for the Oceanographic Committee Expenditures- - AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH, KODIAK,
ALASKA, PROVIDING FOR A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET ITEM WITHIN THE PLAN-
NING AND ZONING BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED
AND No /100ths ($2,400.00) DOLLARS FOR THE OCEANOGRAPHIC COMMITTEE
EXPENDITURES
WHEREAS, Account No. 701.14 of the Kodiak Island
Borough 1967 -1968 Budget provides an item in the amount of SIX
HUNDRED and No /100ths ($600.00) DOLLARS for advertising and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that an additional sum
of TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND No /100ths ($2,400.00) DOLLARS
will be required for advertising in connection with the promotion
of the location of the Oceanographic Center in Kodiak and
WHEREAS, Account No. 510 of the Kodiak Island Borough
1967 -1968 Budget provides for contingencies
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough as follows:
Section 1: The Kodiak Island Borough Budget for the
fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of July, 1967, and ending on
the 30th day of June, 1968, is hereby amended by the addition of
the sum of TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED and No /100ths ($2,400.00)
DOLLARS to account No. 701.14 for advertising in connection with
the promotion for the location of the Oceanographic Center in
Kodiak, said sum being transferred from Account No. 510, the contin
gency fund.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval as re-
quired by law.
First reading and approval date: April 4, 1968.
Second reading, public hearing and passage date: April 18, 1968.
