AS AMENDED
AN ORM: NC AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
BY DESIGNATING LOS CNE (1) THROUGH FOUR (4) OF BLOCK EIGHT (8) ALEUTIAN
HOWE SLEDIVISICN AND ROSLYN BEACH AT IST'HMLIS COVE FOR SERVICE RECREATIONAL
LEE
WHEREAS, AS 07.15.340 empowers the Borough to enact a zoning
ordinance and provides for its administration, enforcement and ant,
and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has pursuant thereto adopted
Chapter 5 of its Code of Ordinances and Resolutions, which provides for
planning and zoning provisions and procedures, and
WHEREAS, according to the 'comprehensive planning and zoning map
of the Kodiak Island Borough adopted by the Borough Assembly, Lots One (1)
through Four (4), Block Eight (8) Aleutian Hares Subdivision are now shown
as R-2 and Roslyn Beach at Isthmus Cove is now shown as Conservation and
SAS, the Kodiak Island Borough planning and Zoning Cacmission
has recommended that the Kodiak Island Borough zoning map be changed to
show Lots One (1) through Four. (4) Block Eight (8) Aleutian Has Subdivision
and Roslyn Beach at Isthmus Cove to have been designated for service recreational
use, and it having been determined that the public necessity, convenience,
general welfare and good zoning practice requires said redesignation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Assembly of the
Kodiak Island Borough that Its One (1) through Four (4) Block Eight (8),
Aleutian Hares Subdivision, now designated as R-2, and Roslyn Beach at
Isthmus Cove, now shown and designated as Conservation on the zoning map
of the Kodiak Island Borough be and the same are hereby redesignated for
service recreational use, and said change be reflected on the official zoning
map of the Kodiak Island Borough and notice of this ordinance be given by
publication in the Kodiak Mirror seven (7) days prior to the second reading
of this ordinance as amended and that a public hearing be held thereon on
the date of the second reading and that this ordinance shall became effective
at the expiration of thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
