KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ORDINANCE NUMBER 66 -15 -0
WHEREAS, Section 07.15.340, Alaska Statutes, empowers the
BOROUGH to enact a zoning ordinance and provide for its administra-
tion, enforcement and amendment, and
WHEREAS, the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH has pursuant thereto
adopted Ordinance No. 64 -5, and
WHEREAS, Section 23 of Ordinance No. 64 -5 provides that the
BOROUGH ASSEMBLY may by ordinance amend, supplement, modify,
repeal or otherwise change the zaing regulations and boundary of
districts, and,
WHEREAS, according to the comprehensive plan adopted by the
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH, Lots One (1) through Fifteen (15) of Block
Four (4) of the AIR PARK SUBDIVISION, Kodiak, Alaska, is now class-
ified as unclassified, and
WHEREAS, the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH has on itsown initi ive
petitioned for a reclassification of said Lots One (1) through
Fifteen (15) of Block Four (4) of the AIR PARK SUBDIVISION, Kodiak,
Alaska, for a reclassification from unclassified to business,
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the BOROUGH ASSEMBLY of the
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH that Lots One (1) through Fifteen (15) of
Block Four (4) of the AIR PARK SUBDIVISION, Kodiak, Alaska, now
classified as unclassified be and the same is hereby reclassified
as Business, and that notice of this ordinance be given by publica-
tion in the Kodiak Mirror fifteen (15) days prior to the second
reading of this ordinance and that a public hearing be held thereon
on the date of the second reading and the publication of this ord-
inance be made by posting copies hereof on the Borough Assembly
Bulletin Board for a period of ten (10) days following its passage
and approval, and publishing a resume' hereof in the Kodiak Mirror
together with a notice of public hearing thereon and mailing a
copy of the same to the Kodiak Mirror.
