FY1965-7 Zoning Ordinance for Aleutian Homes SubdivisionWHEREAS, Section 07.15.340, Alaska Statutes, empowers the Borough
to enact a zoning ordinance and provide for its administration, enforcement
and amendment; and,
WHEREAS, the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH has pursuant thereto adopted
Ordinance Number 64 -5, and,
WHEREAS, Section 23 of Ordinance Number 64 -5 provides that the
Borough Assembly may by ordinance amend, supplement, modify, repeal or
otherwise change the zoning regulations and boundaries of districts and,
WHEREAS, according to the comprehensive plan adopted by the KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH, the ALEUTIAN HOMES, INC. SUBDIVISION of the EAST ADDITION,
being a portion of U.S. Survey No. 2538 A, was classified as 1-1, and,
WHEREAS, the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH has been petitioned by ANTHONY J.
PEREZ for a reclassification of Lots Eight (8), Nine (9), Ten (10), Eleven
(11), Twelve (12), Thirteen (13), and Fourteen (14), of Block Fourteen (14)
of the ALEUTIAN HOMES, INC. SUBDIVISION of the EAST ADDITION from 1-1 to 1-3.
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the BOROUGH ASSEMBLY of the KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH, that that portion of ALEUTIAN HOMES INC. SUBDIVISION of the
EAST ADDITION comprised of Lots Eight (8), Nine (9), Ten (10), Eleven (11),
Twelve (12), Thirteen (13) and Fourteen (14), Block Fourteen (14), now
classified as *1 be and the sass is hereby reclassified 1-3, and that
notice of public hearing be given of this request for reclassification by
publication in the Kodiak Mirror one weak prior to the second reading of
this ordinance and that public hearing be held thereon on that date, and
that publication of this ordinance shall be made by posting a copy hereof
on the Berwgk Assembly Bulletin Board for a period of ten (10) days
following its passage and approval.
