AC Contract No. 1992-10MO ITEM NO. Kodiak Island Borough AGENDA STATEMENT Meeting of: November 5, 1992 ITEM TITLE: Selief Lane Drainage Project SUMMARY At the joint worksession on October 20, 1992, with the Kodiak City Council, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly reiterated their willingness to pay half the design costs for the relocation of the drainage ditch along Selief Lane. It is anticipated that the waterway will be relocated on to Borough land, and that the project will provide additional protection from water damage to the residents along the north side of Selief Lane. The project will be tied in with the City's paving project for Selief Lane and the Assembly and the City will review the construction costs of the project before any further commitment is made for funding. The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly has agreed to pay fifty (50%) percent of the costs for design of the project (not to exceed $10,000.00), and Kodiak Island Borough staff will be given the opportunity to participate in the project design. The Borough will be provided with a complete copy of the design plans once they have been finalized, after review and comment by the Borough.
