ORDINANCE NO. FY2019-07
AN ORDINANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES TITLE 3 REVENUE AND FINANCE,
CHAPTER 3.10 PUBLIC FINANCE- MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTING, BY REPEALING
SECTION 3.10.140 FERN FULLER FUND
WHEREAS, the establishment of the Fern Fuller Fund was to provide for the distribution of the
contributions from the Fern B. Fuller Charitable Remainder Unitrust; and
WHEREAS, the trust fund provided revenue for beneficiaries and the purchase of equipment for
the Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough, as recipient of the funds, has disbursed all funds in
accordance with the instructions set forth in the trust agreement; and
WHEREAS, since there are no remaining funds to be disbursed, and this fund was created for a
single purpose which no longer exists, the fund is no longer necessary; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature and shall become a part of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
Section 2: That section 3.10.140 Fern Fuller Fund of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of
Ordinances is repealed as follows:
