FY2015-04 <br /> 7 <br /> 8 AN ORDINANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND <br /> 9 BOROUGH AMENDING THE 2008 COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN <br /> 10 TO CHANGE THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF LOT 1, <br /> II ALAGNAK ACRES FROM URBAN RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL <br /> 12 BUSINESS (CASE NO. 14-014) <br /> 13 WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission received a request from the applicant <br /> 14 to amend the 2008 Comprehensive Plan by changing the future land use designation of <br /> 15 Lot 1, Alagnak Acres Subdivision from Urban Residential to Commercial Business; and <br /> 16 <br /> 17 WHEREAS, at an advertised public hearing, consistent with Kodiak Island Borough <br /> 18 Code 17.205, the Commission considered the merits of the amendment request; and <br /> 19 <br /> 20 WHEREAS, the Commission voted to recommend to the Borough Assembly that the <br /> 21 2008 Comprehensive Plan be amended to change the future land use designation of Lot <br /> 22 1, Alagnak Acres Subdivision from Urban Residential to Commercial Business; and <br /> 23 <br /> 24 WHEREAS, the Commission hereby recommends that this 2008 Comprehensive Plan <br /> 25 amendment be reviewed and approved by the Borough Assembly. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND <br /> 28 BOROUGH that: <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Section 1: This ordinance is not of a general and permanent nature and shall not <br /> 31 become a part of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Section 2: The 2008 Comprehensive Plan of the Kodiak Island Borough shall be <br /> 34 amended to change the future land use designation of Lot 1, Alagnak Acres <br /> 35 Subdivision from Urban Residential to Commercial. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Section 3: The findings of the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning <br /> 38 Commission are confirmed as follows: <br /> 39 <br /> 40 17.205.020 A.
